Goldrum Gaming
Privacy Policy
Play money only. No purchase, no prizes, nothing to cash out. 18+.
Who we are
Goldrum Gaming runs Goldrum Gaming, a private, play-money social arcade. This policy says what we collect about you, why, how long we keep it, who helps us process it and what you can do about it. Write to us with the contact form.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, the name you choose, the note you send when you ask to join, and your membership status.
- Your connection: your IP address, and the country and city Cloudflare places it in.
- Your device: the kind of device, its operating system, your browser and your screen size, from what your browser sends.
- Play records: every round you play (game, stake, win, balances before and after, time), your play-money credits and credit requests, favourites, reality checks and play limits.
- Analytics: what you do in the lobby and the games (screens, game tiles seen and opened, searches, loading times and errors).
- Feedback: the ratings and comments you send about games.
- Messages and demo requests: what you send with the contact form or Request a demo: your name, email and message, and for a demo your company, role, markets and what you want to see.
- Your choices: the Day or Night theme, and which versions of these pages you accepted and when.
We do not collect payment details: there is nothing to pay for.
Why we use it
- to run your membership and sign you in;
- to apply the age, invitation and country rules and keep the arcade and your account secure (for example, noticing a new network or browser);
- to keep a record of play like any games operator does, and to show you your own game history;
- to understand how the games are played and make them better;
- to send you the emails the arcade needs: sign-in and confirmation codes, your place on the waitlist, approvals and answers to credit requests. We send no marketing.
How long we keep it
- Analytics events, with the IP address, place and device on them, are kept for 12 months. After that only daily totals remain, without any address.
- Rounds and your game history are kept for as long as the arcade runs, as its permanent record of play. You can see the last 90 days in the lobby.
- Your account is kept while you are a member. When your account is removed, by you or by us, your access ends at once; 30 days later your email and name are removed everywhere the arcade keeps them (we call this anonymising). What stays is anonymous: the numbers of your play under an id that no longer leads to you. Comments you sent as feedback stay without your name.
- Requests to join that were not approved are kept so we can see earlier requests; ask us and we delete them.
- Messages and demo requests are kept so we can answer and follow up; ask us and we delete them.
- Email codes are deleted after 2 days, and the record of sign-up tries from a connection after 2 hours.
- The significant-events log (errors, large wins, admin actions, acceptances of these pages) names members only by an id and is kept as a security record.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, under their own terms and only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare: the network every connection goes through, sign-in (Cloudflare Access) and the robot check on the public site's forms (Turnstile). Cloudflare tells us your country and city.
- DigitalOcean: hosts the arcade's server and its database.
- Resend: sends the arcade's emails.
They may process data in the United States and other countries.
No selling, no ad trackers
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. The arcade has no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics scripts: play analytics are recorded by our own server.
Cookies
The arcade uses a few cookies to sign you in, keep it secure and remember your theme. The Cookie Notice lists them.
Your rights
On your Account page in the arcade you can:
- see the details we keep about you;
- download a copy of your data;
- correct your name;
- delete your account.
For anything else, such as changing your email, asking what else we hold or objecting to a use, write to us with the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
18 and over only
The arcade is only for people 18 and older. If we learn that a member is under 18, we remove their account.
Changes to this policy
Each version has a number and a date at the top of the page. When it changes, members are asked to accept the new version on their next visit.
